Wedgwood Etruria Willow Large Squat Blue 2 1/2 Pt White Deco Styled Teapot Vgc

Here is a beautifully traditional WEDGWOOD ETRURIA LARGE WILLOW SQUAT DECO STYLED BLUE AND WHITE TEAPOT. The nearest backstamp I can find is pictured above that relates to 1840 for a short time for high quality goods. It is in such good condition, I think it is newer than this, but can't find anything with exactly the same backstamp.

Please, if anybody out there can advise me on a date, I would love to know. This piece is beautifully decorated with oriental scenes with birds, willow trees and temples running all the way around the teapot and lid. There is a wide band of geometric patterns around the top of the teapot. The finial is rounded and displays willows to compliment the teapot base. The handle and spout look very deco.

There is a geometric leaf pattern that runs along the spout. The lid has a very deep base that fits snugly into the teapot. The teapot has a huge 2 1/2 pt (approx) capacity. It measures approximately 6 high from the base to the top of the finial on the lid.

The diameter around the shoulder is approximately 7" and the length from the tip of the spout to the furthest point of the handle is approximately 10". The teapot weighs 1.4 kg (approx). The teapot is in exceptionally good condition and I doubt it has ever been used.

It has no chips, cracks or restoration. Any white marks on the images are light reflections and not flaws on the item. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
