Wedgwood English Porcelain Set of 10 Dinner Plates Floral & Blue Enamel X9498

This listing is for an early 20th century English porcelain set of 10 dinner plates by Wedgwood made for Spaulding & Co Chicago. The plates measure 10 1/4 inches in diameter.

They feature a white ground with a beautiful wildflower bouquet at the center. The plates have a large border around the outside edge with swags of roses hanging from golden lattice work, topped with a border of green laurel leaves and a light blue enameling with loops and stars. The plates are further enhanced with heavy applied gold on the edges.

They are marked on verso WEDGWOOD ENGLAND SPAULDING & CO. CHICAGO" along with the pattern "X9498. The plates are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
