Vintage Arabia Ulla Procopé Valencia Salad Plates Set of 7

Brand new unused vintage set of six 7 5/8 salad plates by Arabia of Finland in the Valencia pattern designed by Ulla Procopé back in the 1960's. A striking modernist design in cobalt blue and white. All vintage pieces discovered in their original gift boxes and never unwrapped or used. She was part of the Nordic design tradition aiming for more beautiful every day goods for everybody.

After her art studies at the Central School of Art and Design in Helsinki, Ulla worked for the Arabia factory for 20 years. She was a prominent designer of warmhearted tableware series like Anemone, Tutti Frutti, and Valencia. Ulla artistry is represented at the numerous museums in the Nordic countries.
