Superb Qianlong Chinese Octagonal Underglaze Blue/White, 24cm Dish- Circa 1750

Lovely Chinese Chinese Qianlong (1735 -1796) Export ware Octagonal dish 24cm (9.5). The dish is decorated with a typical pagoda and lake or shore scene. Very nicely painted in underglaze Cobalt blue on a white porcelain.

This type of dish was made mainly for Europe or the Americas so is classed as Export ware. It is a nice example of this type of Chinese export dishes and dates from the mid to later 18th Century. The dish is in good condition.
