This platter/ bowl is in excellent condition! There are NO chips, cracks, crazing, stains, or even scratches that I can detect. There is a small manufacturing glaze-over speck on the white exterior, but does not detract from the overall impression. This is a large chintz item that measures 11.75" with a 1.75" rise. This platter has been reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate.

I do not know whether this is a vintage Spode reproduction. As stated on back, the original is dated 1812. China, a spectacular blue on white floral chintz. Will show well on casual denim or elegant crushed velvet! It will display well with traditional or natural eclectic styles.
