On offer is a wonderful set of five fantastic starter plates by renowned South African artist, RUAN HOFFMAN for ANTHROPOLOGIE. Starter plates comes from the stunning and sought after 2JARDIN DES PLANTES range. Plates come in white with a pretty blue floral, almost art nouveau pattern.

Approximate measurements are as follows. Combined weight - 2.05kg. Plates are printed on the back with Ruan Hoffman and the roman numerical date of manufacture - MMXIV (2014). Please note that these plates are microwave and dishwasher safe. I would say that all plates come in an excellent, well cared for condition.

There is one plate which has a couple of very small firing marks on the back which cannot be seen when being used. Photos provided for consideration, please refer to the 19th and 20th image. We first fell in love with the works of South African artist Rusan Hoffman in 2011 when he was featured in our Rockefeller Center store gallery. A veritable master at combining traditional craftsmanship with modern art, the Johannesburg artist continues to span the surfaces of everything from ceramics to paper goods with his exquisite motifs. For his first ever serve-ware collaboration, he melds untamed botany with one-word affirmations for decidedly modern interpretation of delftware. Will be packaged thoroughly in order to prevent breakage as much as reasonably possible. From a smoke and pet free home.
