Royal Crown Derby Wilmot LARGE Lazy Susan Serving Platter Blue & White Restored

Antique Royal Crown Derby Large Lazy Susan / Comport / Serving Platter. This'Lazy Susan' measures a huge 43cm (16 1/2 inches) across; with seven scalloped'petals'. There's been restoration to an edge portion.

Although I'm not sure why so much was used; and may be scraped back a bit? If you're clever with a blue sharpie; you might successfully disguise the rim; as it's an easy enough border to copy. There's also a fine hairline; although the busyness of the pattern makes it hard to see.

(It goes about a quarter of the way across) See last three photos showing hairline and edge restoration. The mechanism still works, but it's stiff. No other chips or cracks other than mentioned. Good strong gold gilding to the rest of the rim. There's an impressed Derby mark, see pics.

I'm not sure how to accurately Date this? I believe it's Victorian. It's a stunning table-centre piece. Price reflects rarity; and its very heavy.
