Blue printed mark Royal Coat of Arms for the United Kingdom with a banner below the words Staffordshire Ironstone China - G. Weston"; there is also an impressed number "16. It measures 43.5cm x 35cm. Condition: for a platter which is 200 years old it is in good condition: it has wear from historical use. No chips or cracks; age crazing is present; localised staining, mainly to the reverse.
