Rare Antique 1820's Sundial Pattern Man On Horse Blue & White Pearlware Plate

Here we have a beautiful Antique pearlware plate decorated in the incredibly rare sundial pattern. This was made during in Staffordshire in the 1820's and the maker of this plate is unknown. I have checked several blue & white pottery books and each reference this as by unknown maker.

I have searched google and not even been able to find an image of another. This is a gorgeous piece, with a wonderful blue colour with a beautiful scene showing a wealthy man on horseback being led by attendant. There are views of an arch with flowers, on top is an urn. There are columns and trees and this is surrounded in a floral and scrolled leaf border. This is a stunning and rare piece that probably belongs in a museum in all honesty, it would look superb on a traditional Welsh dresser, or amongst a collection of blue & white china. It measures approximately 10.25 inches in diameter! This is the only one on the market of course so get it or regret it! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
