Kosometsuke Tianqi Chinese Porcelain Blue & White Plate

Antique Kosometsuke Tianqi Chinese Porcelain Blue and White Plates - Two early porcelain plates made in China for the 17th century Japanese market. Each of the plates features a figural landscape in underglaze blue on a blueish-white ground. Underside of plates have a four-character mark in Japanese style for Tianqi. One plate has additional characters that were hand engraved after firing. Condition: Some expected age appropriate wear, one plate has kiln crack at rim.
