Kangxi Blue & White Lotus Dish with Turning Leaf To Base

A superbly painted Kangxi Dish featuring four Lotus plants in wonderful shades of cobalt blue. The inner border decorated with X pattern and flowers in cartouches. Damaged and repaired with staples in the 19th c, this is a great Dish, 22cm diameter and 4cm deep. To the underside, 2 blue circles with a turning leaf motif. The edges decorated with three Prunus blossoms.
