JOHN & RICHARD RILEY DESSERT PLATE, DROMEDARY PATTERN, 1825. Delightful blue and white tranferware dessert plate decorated with the Camel, or Dromedary pattern.Shows a camel with handler with date palms and three pyramids in the background. The scene has a floral border on a pale blue ground. The plate is in very good antique condition, with just one tiny rim chip to the glaze, and a few tiny kiln frits in the glaze. Unmarked to the base, but attributed to John and Richard Riley of Burslem.
