Historical Staffordshire Dark Blue Transferware Boston Hospital Plate Antique

A beautiful historical Staffordshire dark blue transfer plate in the "Hospital Boston" view from the Vine Border series by Ralph Stevenson, circa 1820's. Marked on the back as shown. Measures 8 1/4 in diameter.

Condition: The plate displays well having good color, shiny glaze with no discoloration and normal glaze crazing as expected. There are no hairlines, cracks or repairs.

There is some light interior utensil marking seen when tilted in light. There is a tiny nick off the base rim, some table wear to the base rim, and a tiny nick at the edge of the rim on the back side. There are some scratches in the glaze on the center of the back, possibly from an old metal plate hanger. It looks better than my description makes it sound.
