A Chinese, Ming Dynasty, Swatow porcelain, large shallow dish, dating to the 16th or early 17th Century, Painted in underglaze blue and white with a bird among foliage to the centre, with a cell diaper border, containing small, floral panels. Measuring 10.25" in diameter and 2" high. In generally good condition apart from a small repaired section to the rim (see photo 5).
