Chinese Blue and White Plate Warmer -18th Century. Of octagonal shape and decorated in a vibrant cobalt blue with a traditional pavilion at its centre and a river scene with a two sampan and two other river junk craft. In the foreground, a bridge with a further pavillion. The background with a pegoda, mountains and birds in flight.

Willow, pine and other trees near the pavilions. The rim with hatching and flower decoration. A trident crack on the face (see photo) and a linear crack on back. All stable and possibly can be carefully bleached out.
