Measuring 9.5 inches/24.5 cm diameter, this is a stunning fully marked Chantilly plate. Painted with blue "camaïeu" décor with a carnation, insects and scattered flowers within a moulded basketweave rim, underglaze blue factory mark to base, and impression. Chantilly porcelain is French soft-paste porcelain produced between 1730 and 1800 by the manufactory of Chantilly in Oise, France.
