C1800-1825 Lovely set 13 Spode Cobalt Blue White & Gilt Dinner Plates

Presented is a fine set of 13 Spode porcelain dinner plates. These plates date to the first quarter of the 1800s, or possibly as early as the 1790s. The plates are white with a rich cobalt blue border and intricate hand gilt designs. At six points around the rim is a light blue five petaled flower design. In the center of each plate is a floral spray design in cobalt blue, with very fine gilt detailing.

This is a very charming and appealing set of plates, and would make a great addition to any table setting. The plates are signed Spode on the underside, as well as a number 3453. This set of plates is in great condition. There is some minor wear to the gilding here and there. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
