Blue and White Transferware Meat Plate Rileys Union Border Series

A blue and white meat plate transfer printed with a scene from the Union Border Series, usually attributed to John and Richard Riley. The scene shows a horse, goat, sheep, cows and donkey with seated herdsman in centre. The plate is in very good condition apart from a small manufacturing fault and short graze. Both of these are at the bottom of the plate and very small.
