Antique SARREGUEMINES Utzschneider and Co MARINES Plates Set of 6 German. In good condition with minor issues. Plates have small surface scratch marks from usage.

Minor manufacturing defects appear such as spots of kiln dust. Pic 7 shows a small nibble to the rim of one plate.

Pic 9 shows some discolouring to the surface of one plate. Plates marked SARREGUEMINES, which was the trade name of Utzschneider and Company, a porcelain factory based in the town of Sarreguemines, which was part of Germany at the time. Hence the Made in germany back stamp. Sarreguemines did not become French until 1918.
