Antique Clobbered Blue White Porcelain Plate Chinese Japanese English? This is a very interesting antique porcelain plate. I've owned it for a very long time, and still have not decided who made it.

It has characteristics of China, Japan and England. It could be from either. It is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It is about 325 grams. Decorated with underglaze blue and white. Also decorated in over glaze enamels in a clobbered manner.

There are stilt marks on the base (typical of Japan). The underside rim has turning trimming marks (typical of China). Excellent condition, no chips, no cracks and no repairs.
