Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Period Handpainted Blue White Plate Kraak EXC. Treasures from Westchester, New York! Antique Ming Dynasty Wanli Period Handpainted Plate. This superb 16th or early 17th century blue & white plate is in a mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
It measures 10 3/8 wide and was made between 1573 & 1619. The artist used the entire plate as his palate featuring bamboo trees, flowers and birds. The rim is also decorated with flowers and the back of the plate has bamboo branches. The center of the plate has the marking #40. Domestic Priority service delivers nationwide in 1-3 days.
