Charming & rare COMPLETE set of 12 antique French 6.5" cabinet or'story' plates, a Creil & Montereau souvenir set entitled "A la Campagne" or "In the Countryside. All with matching blue & white patterned floral borders. Each of the 12 plates feature a grisaille style comedic scene in the center, all related to living in the country. This is a complete set of 12. All 12 of the plates feature the same Creil et Montreau maker marks that dates them between the late 1800's-early 1900's. It reads Creil et Montereau, Terre de Fer, France. / Very slight crazing on front and back.
