By Furnivals porcelain 71-pc service! Furnivals is an English porcelain company that started in Staffordshire in 1839 and produced fine china through 1968, when the factory closed.
This elegant set is finely crafted by Furnivals in the lovely and timeless. Pattern featuring delft blue flowers and scale patterns, a smooth center and a ribbed rim.
The set is composed of the following pieces. 14 Dinner Plates - 10-1/16" in diameter, 1" in height. Some dinner plates have minor fleabites on the sides that are barely noticeable, please see pictures for one example. One plate, older than the rest, has some crazing. 10 Bread Plates - 6-3/8" in diameter, 3/4" in height. Two bread plates have hairline cracks that do not go through both sides, one has a hairline crack that does appear on both sides. One plate has a minor chip. 14 Regular Bowls -6-3/16" in diameter, 1-3/4" in height. Three of the regular bowls have minor chips, one bowl has a hairline crack. 3 Salad Plates - 8-1/4" in diameter, 7/8" in height 4 Soup Bowls - 7-3/4" in diameter, 1-1/2" in height. Some discoloration is present, two bowls have minor chips. 3 Berry Bowls - 5-1/4" in diameter, 1-1/8" in height. One berry bowl has some crazing. 1 Waste Bowl - 5" in diameter, 3" in height.Waste bowl has some discoloration to the rim. 1 Serving Bowl - 6-1/2" in diameter, 2-1/8" in height 7 Large Saucers - 6-1/8" in diameter, 1" in height. One large saucer has a hairline crack, another has some crazing. 7 Medium Saucers - 5-15/16 in diameter, appx.
Some medium saucers have minor chips. 7 Small Saucers - 4-5/8" in diameter, 5/8" in height. Some small saucers may have minor fleabites. The entire set presents in good to very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear commensurate with age and light use on all pieces.
Some pieces may have crazing, flea bites, hairline cracks or minor chips. Please see full description for a complete report and review all photos.
