3 Antique 18th C. Dutch Delft Blue & White Plates in the Tea Tree Pattern #1

Here we a set of three matched Dutch Delft plates in the "Thee Boom" pattern showing a tea plant with a fan-shaped bouquet of leaves and flowers. This is one of the most beautiful designs hand-painted on Delft in the 18th century. The decoration fills the well of the plates.

On the border are medallions and scroll designs. The edges are delicately scalloped.

The plates have the mark of "The Axe" for Delft made by De Porceleyn Bijl in the 1770's. Dimensions: 8 7/8 inches in diameter for each. They are in very nice condition with no chips or cracks, only the expected rim wear.
