1948 Bowdoin College Wedgwood Set 6 Dinner Plates Blue & White Chapel historical

A rare complete set of 6 Bowdoin College Wedgwood 10.25 dinners plates in blue and white! Bearing the 1948 year, these are stamped 1951, but retain the subtle line around the rim present in the original 1931, 1944 and 1948 runs.

Set includes all six scenes, the Chapel, Walker Art building, Hubbard and lions, Class of 1878 Gateway, Campus in 1822 and Massachusetts Hall. All in good shape, one with very minor crazing to front, several with minor crazing to reverse. A rare set, in the smaller edition blue color. A great graduation, wedding or reunion gift, the complete set could be used as dinnerware.
