1750's Tin Glazed Faience Blue & White CHANTILLY Fructiere Bowl 13.25 x 10.75
1750's Tin Glazed Faience Blue & White CHANTILLY, France Oval Lobed Bowl. Here is wonderful early bowl. Made out of tin glazed faience with beautiful HAND PAINTED floral motifs in underglaze cobalt blue. French in origin from the mid/late 1700's. " X 10.75"; 2.5 deep. It shows surface wear on the bottom, where it meets the table and some little spots of glaze wear around the top rim. Some of these spots were left unglazed in the manufacturing process. Everything is consistent with the great age and purpose.
