12 SET OF 3 Vintage Authentic FAJALAUZA Wall Plate Blue White Green Talavera

A set of 3, vintage decorative plates from Granada, Spain. These show the typical glaze style from Granada, Spain , specifically from Fajalauza, the potter's barrio of Granada. The center design is of a pomegranate ("granada" means "pomegranate" in Spanish).

They have holes in the back to loop twine or cord through and hang on the wall. Please look carefully at the photos because they are part of my description. There are some minor chips or "flea bites" on the pieces given their age. Especially notice that on the largest plate, the original owner painted over a sizable chip on the rim with green paint. Medium plate = 9 diameter.
