Wedgwood blue/white jasperware cherub cheese, cake dome withunder plate

Here we have today is an antique Wedgwood blue, white jasperware cheese, cake dome with under plate from England. This nice rare piece is 8 tall from base of under plate to the top of the dome finial.

The lid is 8 1/2" in diameter and the under plate is 10 1/2" in diameter. Piece is in good vintage condition, there is a place on the dome with a defect, it looks like it could be a repaired chip or a manufacture defect. There is age crazing to the finish of both pieces and a few places where there is discoloration to the white design. The base has no chips or cracks, there are small pads attached at the bottom to protect surfaces and some soiling to the piece. Both pieces are only marked with a few numbers or letters, it does not have the Wedgwood stamp, from our research the piece dates back to the late 1800's early 1900's.

This piece will be carefully packed and doubled boxed. All items that we sell are used, vintage or just plain old and will show some form of wear, scratches, dents or imperfections which make them unique. Unless they are listed as new, mint, or in near mint condition, please keep this in mind when purchasing.
