Colonial Pottery, Whieldon Road, Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent - 1890 - 1931. Date: The plate dates circa 1900. Condition: The plate is of good heavy quality, having no chips, cracks or old restorations.There is some discolouration to the willow pattern top and base where the plate has been used in the oven or Aga, together with some crazing to the glazing but this again only adds to character. The plate does have old firing marks, these are original to the piece and only add to character and authenticity. Dimensions: Width:15.5 inches (39.5cm) Depth: 12.25 inches (31cm) Height: 1.5 inches (3.7cm).
