Size: one has an edge chip and a hair line in the middle, the other one has a edge chip. Because blue willow is such a popular pattern, there are many blue willow plates around, even many antique blue willow transfer wares. However, these 2 are very rare ones and very early ones. The earliest blue willow I have seen are early 18.
Century Qianlong period Chinese export hand painted blue willow plates. These 2 plates are transfer ware, but they are exact copy of the early 18C Chinese export hand painted blue willow. They are exact copy down to very small details: the willow, the house, the rock. The later transfer ware of blue willow pattern always had some variations more or less.
This suggest these 2 plates were likely made in the 18. Century, close to the time when the Chinese export blue willow reached England. I searched many record of Wedgwood but didn't find the same plate elsewhere.
