HISTORIC Belle Vue Pottery Hull Blue & White Transferware Plate Durham Cathedral

This is an incredible and historic artifact find from the Belle-Vue Pottery, made in Hull! This is the blue and white large transferware pattern of "Durham Cathedral", one of the very FEW remaining pieces from the short-lived pottery that closed in 1841. It is in GREAT SHAPE with no chips or cracks! Only normal crazing and semi glazed edges from age & minor staining. It measures approximately 10.5 in diameter and is estimated to be made around the 1830's.

Most pieces that are left or survived from this pottery collection are in museums. It also has the number "9", along with the makers mark located on the bottom rim.
