A Chinese export Nanking type blue and white porcelain saucer dish, from circa 1780. The centre of this wonderful dish plate is painted in underglaze blue with a fisherman standing beneath a pine tree at the shore, a boat in the distance, the sky with a flock of birds, within an elaborate floral, butterfly and ruyi lappet border with brown rim.

In good condition commensurate with age, the glaze with typical minor glaze spots and blemishes, the footrim with minor thumbnail chip to the underside.
