An Early Blue And White Carved Porcelain Dish With A Flower Pot Arita ware. Rim dressed in iron-brown glaze, the interior painted in very fine underglaze cobalt-blue tones with flowering branches of camellia and rockwork in a porcelain pot on a tripod at the centre, the cavetto finely carved with flowerheads and foliage reserved on a. Glazed ground, the plain reverse, a cobalt-blue apocryphal six-character seal mark to the base set with three spar marks, some kiln-grit adhering to the footring, covered with a pale blue tinged glaze in darker hues where thick, partly soiled. The blue and white Arita porcelain dish with a finely chiselled design on a blue-glazed.
