This RARE find is a beautiful addition to anyones home or collection. In near perfect condition with very little gilt wear. Wall Period (see photo) Circa 1760 - 1780 This mark (W) s a workmens mark found on specimens of printed and painted blue decoration, in the Museum of the Worcester Porcelain Works, and in well-known private collections. The Dresden mark of the caduceus or wand of AEsculapius is sometimes found, as well as the crossed swords. This, in blue, is on an early basin, embossed and painted with blue flowers.
Notice the UNIQUE shape of the teacup handle along with the elegant simple leaf pattern design wrapping around the cup. The tea plates measure 7" round and the saucer measures 6" round The cup stands 2 tall as seen in the photo.This is a rare opportunity to own a Dr. Wall Period China set as they do not come up that often.
